I am a college girl who loves shopping
I am trying to stop buying too many clothes and be more eco-friendly
But I am still buying new clothes
Because I want to try different styles of clothes, which allows me to find the style that suits me the most. (problem statements)
They want to become more environmentally friendly,
but they love to try new clothes and different styles.
Traditional-style recycled clothes are not easy and convenient for them.
Most of the young generation tend to buy different styles of clothes but never wear them because they need an appropriate occasion, which causes waste.

The Clothing-Whisper combines the advantage of recycling and swapping clothing activity. The designated location is campus, where everyone has an identity to verify. No dirty clothes concern!
How we gather 31 target participants in 3 days
It was a challenge for us to find participants in a such short time, so we stepped out of our comfort zone.
We tried social media, such as instagram, Facebook, and Wechat group to looking for target users.

3 options that we explore during our process
The clothes machine will recycled your old clothes, instead of throw it away, the recycled clothes could send to someone who needs it, or even goes to second-hand market.
Holding an exchange event nearby could help the community to swap clothes for each other. Users could get the clothes style they want without getting a new one.
Renting website offer renting services for the user, also user themselves could rent their own clothes to save up the clothes space as well.

This section starts with a problem that needs to be solved, doing general research to find out solving the right problem.
This section ends with a solution proven by surveys, secondary research, and user interviews. The journey begins with many solutions to reach the solution.
In this section, a primary search was conducted through google survey. Secondary research finds out the massive issue with fast fashion waste, Further defines the target user according to survey results.
The young generation in their early 20s who enjoys shopping.
In this section, 31 survey results shows tendency. Analysis in-depth insights by recruiting 6 participates.
This research not only serves to decrease fashion waste by GenZ, but also spreads fashion waste knowledge to get better understanding of fashion waste .
In the miro boards, the 5 participants were color coded to analyze different insights on similar topics.
There are topics: Style/appearances, shopping/habits, and second-hand clothes
1. Expansive luxury clothes are very special to them, and they are not ready to get rid of them.
2. Unsatisfied with second-hand clothes sold price.
3. Closet is full of clothes and takes up a lot of space.

In this section, 3 solutions is inspired by former 5 participants interview session—another round of interviews to testify the effectiveness and usability of 3 solutions.
We conduct a 30-minute concept testing session with 5 participants who fit our target audience scope.
Goal: To see if the product addresses the fashion waste problem. To generate new ideas to make the concepts even better.

By analyzing research data, and comparing 3 different solutions. The final solutions come with the advantages of theformer solutions.
Double diamonds design method has been used in this project. However, it could be reuse from final solution to testify or improve the product.
